Its Not Just A Lack of Education or Opportunity...

As the recent headlines in New Orleans blared to the world that Mardi Gras has become very dangerous and violent, the local forums on Nola.com rang with self enlightened people blaming the problem on society's failure to provide opportunity for the disadvantaged poor. One well intentioned idiot using the screen name "newtonawlins" even demanded we tax the private school tuition and give it to the public education system.

Hate to burst the liberal bubble of ignorance, but Private School Tuition is TAXED now. Parents of children who decide that their children's education is a priority and cannot be trusted to the humanists and darwinists running our public education system are not able to deduct private school tuition on their tax returns from their taxable income. Therefore, the funds are taxed. I know, he wants the non-profit status of catholic and other private schools revoked so that they can throw more money at the problem. Its a terrible thing to actually have a brain and see this problem clearly. My post on one of the forums summed it up.

"Amazed at the rose colored glasses so many of you wear!

The reality is that we have an education system that is full of young idealist who have flocked here post Katrina to "educate" the under privileged, youth with no opportunities to face a cold reality... These kids have made a CHOICE to embrace the culture of crime and easy money. They don't want a 9-5 job, no matter how much it pays because they would rather hang out with their "homies" and terrorize the prey.

The reality is that if a child, no matter how under privileged sets his mind to getting out, he has multitudes of opportunities to do so at the public's expense... including achieving degrees at Tulane, Harvard, Yale.... but instead they are immersed in a family culture and racial culture which thinks and preaches that its too "white" to achieve and strive to do the right thing and become a functioning and contributing member of society.

Forget the race baiting, these animal predators that have been cultivated by the black community and now have become so bold that they kill anyone over ANYTHING.

The only ones who are blind to the problem is the black community which refuses to recognize that their problem is now everyone's problem. WAKE UP, the world has changed and the only limit to your children's potential is their will and desire to make something of themselves.

Instead you continue to spout the same slogans from the 60's while enjoying prosperity in this country that is worlds apart from the normal person in most other countries of the world.
Its time to accept responsibility and start instilling self esteem in your kids. Otherwise, enjoy the precession of funerals as these thugs kill each other while the rest of us get caught in the cross fire."

As much as I missed "home" while living in Virginia, everyday I find a new confirmation of the reasons why I did not move back into the City of New Orleans. The ignorance of those who are part of the problem and yet refuse to admit it while accusing anyone who points it out as racist are the cancer that continues to destroy any hope of New Orleans returning to any semblance of her former stature. In the meantime, I and my neighbors both black and white on the Northshore live on, while New Orleans drowns.

When the Questions asked Say Everything You Need to Know...

I read an article from the christian news website onenewsnow.com; Mr. Elder is one of their regular contributors. He's an African American public figure who actually makes sense when he speaks on a topic... please forgive the copyright infringement.. he said "no charge to use" at the end of the piece... I decided to take him at his word. Additionally, since I'm actively preparing for the Louisiana Bar, just didn't have the time, energy or effort available to put my own input. Besides, I'm convinced his piece was so "spot on" that it didn't need my input.

Obama in prime time: 7 questions left on cutting room floor

Larry Elder - Syndicated Columnist - 2/12/2009 9:40:00 AM
var addthis_pub = 'onenewsnow';

President Barack Obama this week conducted his first prime-time press conference. After blaming the "failed theories of the last eight years" for today's economic crisis, he pushed for massive, unprecedented government spending. Lefty radio talk show host Ed Schultz -- who once called Republican presidential candidate John McCain a "warmonger" -- sat in the front row, appropriately next to "reporter" Helen Thomas. Thomas used to attack then-President Bush with her statements masquerading as questions. In her question to Obama, she referred to our Islamofascist enemies as "so-called terrorists" -- which failed to elicit even a raised eyebrow from the President. What, no Rush Limbaugh?

Obama even took a question from a "reporter" for the hyper-liberal website The Huffington Post. And, unlike Bush, the Obama administration preselected the reporters to be called upon and notified them in advance. Why did the others even bother showing up? If Bush pulled something like this, they'd call it "the discredited doctrine of pre-emption." We offer seven questions left on the cutting room floor:

(1) Mr. President, tonight you criticized those who argue that FDR's policies failed. I'd like to read a passage from the diary of Henry Morgenthau, FDR's Treasury secretary: "We have tried spending money. We are spending more than we have ever spent before and it does not work. I want to see this country prosperous. I want to see people get a job. I want to see people get enough to eat. We have never made good on our promises....I say after eight years of this Administration we have just as much unemployment as when we started...and an enormous debt to boot!" Please comment.

(2) Mr. President, this is a two-part question. In your opening statement, you called today's economic situation "the most profound economic emergency since the Great Depression" and later "the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression." But in the 1981-82 recession, unemployment reached 10.8 percent in 1982 versus 7.6 today. Reagan inherited an annual inflation rate of 13.5 percent, while you, sir, came in with a 0.1 percent inflation rate. Prime interest rates reached 21.5 percent at the end of 1980, compared with 3.25 percent at the end of 2008. Reagan did not ask for a "rescue" or "bailout" package. He cut taxes and slowed the rate of domestic spending. Unemployment, inflation and interest rates went down. The Treasury collected more revenue than ever. First, how then -- at least so far -- is this the greatest economic crisis since the Great Depression? And second, given Reagan's success, why not cut taxes, reduce domestic spending, and leave taxpayers and consumers with more money to save, spend and invest?

(3) Mr. President, you say your administration will not torture. You've directed our military to apply the Army Field Manual, which relies on 19 psychological methods of interrogation and excludes waterboarding. Yet you are setting up an interagency panel to decide whether to use interrogation methods not included in the Army Field Manual. Aren't you having it both ways -- saying you won't torture or use enhanced interrogation techniques, while retaining the option to do so?

(4) As a candidate, you called raising taxes a matter of "neighborliness." Your Vice President called paying taxes a matter of "patriotism." Yet your secretary of Treasury, Timothy Geithner, who oversees the IRS, failed to pay some taxes. The International Monetary Fund, where he worked, informed him in writing of his obligation to pay payroll taxes and increased his compensation to offset the payment. He accepted the compensation but failed to pay taxes. Can the head of the department that runs the IRS credibly expect others to pay their taxes, when he failed to pay his own?

(5) In one of your first acts as President, you signed an executive order that many call the toughest-ever ethical guidelines. It bans former lobbyists joining your administration from being involved with any matters or agencies that might be related to their former lobbying efforts. It also prohibits anyone from working in an agency he or she lobbied during the past two years. Given that, please comment on why you have granted a dozen personnel waivers to your own ethical guidelines.

(6) The respected nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office studies the effects of the various proposed stimulus plans. The Washington Times said, "CBO, the official scorekeepers for legislation, said the House and Senate bills will help in the short term but result in so much government debt that within a few years they would crowd out private investment, actually leading to a lower Gross Domestic Product over the next 10 years than if the government had done nothing." Your comment?

(7) Tonight you blamed the economic crisis on the "failed theories of the last eight years," yet tonight you also criticized homeowners who put little or nothing down and purchase homes without the ability to pay their mortgages if "something goes wrong." Sir, which is it?

No charge to use these.

These are our enemies...

and this is what they do to their own children... somehow waterboarding doesn't even come close to what I as a father of small boys would like to do to these "peace loving muslims"
[WARNING: These photos are very graphic]

Where are the liberals calls for justice? Where are Amnesty International? Where are the so called Hollywood Celebrities who champion every whacked out cause they can dig up from under a rock.... they're too busy protesting America, cursing George Bush and enthralled in the orgy of Obama's second coming, to even care what this little boy endured at the hands of these wonderful Muslims who only hate us because we are evil.
If this doesn't make you sick and awaken you to the true enemy that we face.. then you are truly the walking dead.
I agonized over whether to post this... in the end, I couldn't get this little boy's look of fear, pain and terror out of my head. Its time we wake up and understand that there is true evil in this world.. and no its not American Capitalism.

When Truth is Called Lies...

Isaiah 5:20-21
"Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter. Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes and clever in their own sight."

When Israeli troops are demonized because of civilian casualties, while the media completely ignores that the civilians were placed and kept in harm's way by Hamas, it begins to defy logic that these types of outright lies are tolerated. When the Israelis drop leaflets into combat targets to warn away civilians that they are about to attack, it is beyond credulity that any military objectives are achieved. Instead Hamas keeps in place their human shields while loudly cursing the Israelis when civilians including women and children are killed by the strikes. All the while, they steal aid supplies and use them for their own purposes or worse "sell" them to their own people. Throughout this travesty, the U.N. condemns Israel and arabs curse the Jews to nods of approval thoughout the world. Unless we open our eyes and see the truth before us, we will not only allow evil to triumph but even worse become an ally with it.

Through the years of working in the legal field, I have often seen that in order to fully understand something or to see the truth in a set of complex and confusing facts, you have to be patient and take the time to consider everything suspending your judgment to follow the evidence wherever it may lead. We as a people have become lazy and no longer have the patience or the will to search out truth and instead quickly accept the easy lies. Often I have seen competent attorneys in their rush to get something done or move a case along, fail to take the time to hear the whole story. Instead they want a quick "sound bite" which fails to fully convey the whole story or fully explain the true issue. In the same way, the American people have lost their discernment as they have accepted without question the news stories of the day which have been twisted to satisfy certain idealogical views. Because they fail to fully consider all of the facts of the news, without question they have failed to recognize when they are given lies and as a result reject the truth. In these times of complete propaganda by the media and their embracing ultimate power by their choice of President, the public has rushed headlong into value judgments which are twisted and in their truest sense are inherently evil. As the media has protected, defended and promoted evil, they have played a major role in the dismantling of the protections which preserve our society.

In the end, the American people have lost their way and have become so used to lies, that they no longer recognize the truth when it is before them. In the same way, they have been beguiled to follow madness as our new leader begins dismantling the very institutions and safeguards which have prevented another 9/11. As the storm approaches, I can only pray that as the wind and waves hit, people will shed their blindness and seek again to know truth.

President Obama in less than a week in office has begun tearing down the foundations of our country's defenses. As he limits the CIA's activities, prohibits extreme interrogation techniques, closes Guantanamo Bay and draws back the security measures that have prevented our enemies from mounting another successful attack, he has thrown open our country's doors inviting terrorism to strike us again. All the while, this is done to cheers from the political left, NBC, ABC, CBS and CNN as well as a majority of the American populace who have forgotten the shock, sadness, horror and anger when the towers came down. As our enemies circle even now preparing to strike, I pray that WHEN the attack comes the cost will not be more than we can bear but will revive the fire of true patriotism that built our country.

"Those who refuse to recognize evil and thus fail to protect and defend liberty will not enjoy it for long"

My thoughts on the Inauguration...

Despite my personal experiences, I readily admit that I have never personally endured the hateful or violent experiences of those who have been victims of racism. Given this obvious lack of perspective, I guess it is not surprising that I have not understood how people of color and spiritual conviction have been captivated and mesmerized by the person of Obama. I have been bewildered that many of my friends and acquiantances of color have been so caught up in the euphoria surrounding the inauguration. In many cases, these friends of color who are often as conservative and spriritually minded as myself have appeared to be blinded by the person of Obama and seemingly unaware of his agenda and views which in many cases are diametrically opposite to their own. All I can surmise is that the perspective of being an African American and having endured the stigma and at times cruelty of racism has overwhelmed their sensibilities in that they are caught up in the wonder that something they never truly thought would ever happen... has occurred. While encouraged that there are increasing numbers of people who are not driven by racial hatred to elect an African American President, I am equally dismayed that they elected this African American man. My dissent is not to the President-Elect's color but rather his views, platform, agenda and character. While some may view my disapproval as a sign of racism, I would gladly have given my vote, money and support for several African American people had they been a candidate. While my refusal to jump on the Obama Bandwagon may be called racist by some who don't know me, it remains deeply rooted in my belief that this man, regardless of his color, is not and will not be a good president. I pray for the sake of my children and our country that I am proven wrong.

We as a Nation are In Distress... But I will not stand together with Racists.

I thought long and hard about whether I should leave the upside down flag posted on my blog. After much thought and prayerful consideration, I decided to take it down. I still believe now, as I did before the election, that Obama is not a good choice for President, not based upon his skin color but rather based upon his views and positions on crucial issues. However, considering the news that various hate groups were using the "upside down flag" as a symbol in their protests of the inauguration, I did not wish to be viewed as alligned or even "one in spirit" with these groups who stand for everything that I firmly disagree with.

My objection and opposition to President-Elect Obama is based upon my view and perspective that is solely grounded in the issues that I believe will impact our country and world. In all honesty, I am of the opinion that the American people have elected what will be shown to be the most un-godly President we have ever had. For those who desire a more secularized government that is less beholden to people of faith, his presidency will undoubtedly be heralded as a return to reason, but for those such as myself who firmly believe that God is real, relevant and has a direct impact and interest in the actions we take as a country, I shudder at the reality that we have an incoming leader who is actively pro-abortion, and anti-christian in his views. I am consumed with concern for my children who will grow up in this country with a leader who will not actively seek God's guidance and protection for our nation except when it is publicly expedient or popular to do so. Instead we are now to be lead by a leader whose only loyalty is to his own public image and the illusion which he projects to the world. As a christian I will pray for my country's leaders but in my heart I am ever fearful of the new administration and its goals. While I pray that my fears are not realized, in my heart I cannot deny the evil storm I see approaching.

Election Day Intimidation By the Black Panthers...

I recently wrote about my concerns over Obama and his statement that he would create a national civilian security force to assist the Department of Homeland Security... I remarked that it gave me serious concern considering the other similarities that he showed which resembled Hitler's rise to power. Now we see on the day of the election this.... Don't take my word for it... View the videos... the Brown Shirts have now become "Black Panthers in black shirts and berrets"... I wonder if the mesmerized supporters of Obama realized this was the "Change" he was promising. Of course, not a word about this on any mainstream news station. Videos posted below:

Sometimes the Real Moves are Under the Surface... here's to hoping that the undercurrent has begun to rage like a river across America.

I recently stumbled across a blog staffed by a group of people who supported Hillary Clinton and are now actively supporting McCain/Palin. I know the irony still amazes me as well. But the most interesting thing on this blog is the background information that they are posting from various democratic operatives across the country. Allegedly they have worked on numerous prior presidential elections for Clinton, Kerry, Gore and then for Hillary. The following is a post that I have copied from their blog, it is the posting of a "current" staff member for the Obama Campaign. I was struck by the post as it is unguarded and confirms many of the things that I had believed were happening in the background. Specifically that the Obama campaign is scared to death of Sarah Palin.

The blog site is: http://hillbuzz.wordpress.com

Ok, I want to clear my conscious a little. Hopefully you could make a blog post to help some fellow clinton supporters out.

I work for a campaign and can’t wait for this week to be over.

I was doing it for a job. I was not a fan of any candidate but over time grew to love HRC.
The internal campaign idea is to twist, distort, humiliate and finally dispirit you.
We pay people and organize people to go to all the online sites and “play the part of a clinton or mccain supporter who just switched our support for obama”
We do this to stifle your motivation and to destroy your confidence.
We did this the whole primary and it worked.
Sprinkle in mass vote confusion and it becomes bewildering. Most people lose patience and just give up on their support of a candidate and decide to just block out tv, news, websites, etc.
This surprisingly has had a huge suppressing movement and vote turnout issues.
Next, we infiltrate all the blogs and all the youtube videos and overwhelm the voting, the comments, etc. All to continue this appearance of overwhelming world support.
People makes posts to the effect that the world has “gone mad”
Thats the intention. To make you feel stressed and crazy and feel like the world is ending.
We have also had quite a hand in skewing many many polls, some we couldn’t control as much as we would have liked. But many we have spoiled over. Just enough to make real clear politics look scarey to a mccain supporter. Its worked, alough the goal was to appear 13-15 points ahead.
see, the results have been working. People tend to support a winner, go with the flow, become “sheeple”

The polls are roughly 3-5 points in favor of Barack. Thats due to our inflation of the polls and pulling in the sheeple.

Our donors, are the same people who finance the MSM. Their interests are tied, Barack then tends to come across as teflon. Nothing sticks. And trust, there were meetings with Fox news. The goal was to blunt them as much as possible. Watch Bill Oreilly he has become much more diplomatic and “fair and balanced” and soft. Its because he wants to retain the #1 spot on cable news and to do that he has to have access to the Obama campaign and we worked hard at stringing him a long and keeping him soft for an interview swap. It worked and now he is anticipating more access. So he is playing it still soft.

This is why nothing sticks.

The operation is massive, the goal is to paint a picture that is that of a winner, regardless of the results.

There is no true inauguration draft or true grant park construction going on. There will be a party, but we are boasting beyond the truth to make it seem like the election is wrapped up.
Our goal is to continue to make you lose your moral. We worked hard at persuasion and paying off and timing and playing the right political numbers to get key republican endorsements to make it seem even more like it was over and the world was coming to an end for you all.
There is a huge staff of people working around the clock, watching every site, blogs, etc. We flood these sites. We have had a goal to overwhelm.

The truth is here. I could go on and on, but you get the picture.

I am saying this because I know HRC was better for the country, and now realize this. I was too late by the time I connected to her. To me Barack was just a cool young dude that seemed like a star. I didn’t know him or his policies, but now I understand more than I care to and I realize his interests are more for him, and the DNC and all working like puppets with dean. I always thought a president wanted the better good for the country. The end result I see is everyone dependent on the government, this means more and more people voting for the DNC. This means the future is forever altered. I don’t see this as america, so I am now supporting John Mccain.

Sarah Palin is a huge threat, and our campaign has feared her like you can’t imagine. If it seems unfair how she has been treated, well its because she has had a team working round the clock to make her look like a fool.

this is a big conspiracy and I am so shocked that its not realized.

We released a little blurb the other day that the Obama campaign was already working on reelection and now putting our efforts towards 2012. This was to make it seem like it was above us to continue caring about 2008. Trust me, its a lie. David is very smart, but its a sticky ugly not very truthful kind of intelligence.

Its not over yet, but I think the machine is working. And its a hill to climb.

I will be quitting my post on nov 5th and my vote will be for John Mccain. Fortunately, my position has been a marketing position and I don’t feel I had any part of anything I would feel guilty for. But I look forward to getting out of this as the negativity and environment upsets me.
I wish you all well, and goodluck.

PS my name is not really sarah. but I am a female and I understand your plight."

Here's to hoping that a majority of voting Americans wake up like "Sarah" before November 4th.
